At Blue Action, we believe the future of the blue economy starts with investing in people. Through our education and workforce development programmes, we are equipping the next generation with the skills, experience and connections to become future entrepreneurs, scientists and industry leaders.
This summer, we are welcoming a new cohort to our Ecopreneur Fellowship, an immersive programme designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs build sustainable businesses in the blue economy. Working alongside local and international partners, our fellows gain practical experience, expert mentorship and valuable industry connections to help transform innovative ideas into real-world impact.
We are also proud to host summer interns from the University of The Bahamas and the Bahamas Agriculture and Marine Science Institute (BAMSI). Through hands-on training in aquaculture and queen conch restoration, our interns work alongside leading experts, developing practical skills while contributing to conservation research and helping build a stronger, more sustainable blue economy for The Bahamas and the wider Caribbean.
