Blue Action Lab's EcoPreneur Fellowship Applications open Nov 17 2025

Participants in the EcoPreneur Fellowship’s Summer 2025 Pilot Program

We are proud to announce the launch of Blue Action Lab's EcoPreneur Fellowship Program.

This 13-week hybrid training and mentorship initiative serves to empower Bahamians aged 18 to 35 who are passionate about building sustainable businesses and projects in the Blue Economy.

The official program begins on January 19, 2026, and runs until April 17, 2026. Throughout the fellowship, participants will explore the fundamentals of the Blue Economy. Additionally, fellows will gain practical skills and receive guidance on developing and growing their own environmentally focused ventures.

Successful applicants will earn industry-recognized certifications and a certificate of completion. They will also gain mentorship and networking opportunities with leaders in conservation, business, and sustainability.

Moreover, fellows will have exposure to funding pathways that can help them bring their ideas to life.

The EcoPreneur Fellowship builds on the success of a pilot program held in summer 2025. The pilot was conducted in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Culture of The Bahamas.

Through this initiative, Blue Action Lab have partnered with several local environmental organizations, including the Bahamas National Trust, Friends of the Environment, Science and Perspective, Coral Vita, Bonefish & Tarpon Trust, Waterkeepers Bahamas, and the Bahamas Marine Mammal Research Organisation (BMMRO). BAL looks forward to continuing and expanding these partnerships during the full rollout of the program.
