This month, we premier Blue Action's Turning the Tide, directed by Bahamian filmmaker Lauren Ritchie. The film shines a light on the transformative work at Conservation Cove, BAL’s restoration hub on Grand Bahama, where efforts in conch aquaculture, reef and mangrove restoration, and community education are shaping the future of island conservation.
“Conservation Cove is proof that solutions to the climate crisis can begin in island nations like ours. By empowering Bahamians to lead with innovation and resilience, we are creating a model of community-led conservation that can inspire and be applied across the world."
